Heya, folks!

As some of you know, I've been needling you behind-the scenes to get bios and pics to me.  Not only does this info make your character come to life, we have many visitors to our site that are influenced by what they see.  The more complete and up-to-date the site is, the better the impression we make.  So, please, check your in-game e-mail and make me a happy camper.

And, in regard to the site, you may have noticed a few subtle changes.  I've added a link to the application on the index page.  I've also begun formalizing the fictitious writing of Estephan R. Zaffarano called Second Lives - From the Ashes of War.  The
book is a novelization detailing the events leading to the deaths and resurrections of a serious of fictional heroes from the Rikti war.  The premise is that the first couple of chapters deal with other heroes or information, and chapter four begins chronicling the SOLUS Collective/Foundation, including the group itself as well as the three members that were thought to have died, but are back - Captain Superior, Empathy's Requiem, and Blastion Redux.

I encourage everyone that has an inclination to write to please do so.  If it doesn't fit in Second Lives, I'll find a way to make it fit somewhere.  One example of this is linked from Push's bio page.  Don't worry about perfection or professional quality.  This isn't a competition, and we have a couple of folks that edit on a somewhat regular basis that can look it over.  I do so before it's uploaded anyway.

Also, please feel free to send screenshots.  The photo album has plenty of space, and I want to show off every character and every players artistic talent.  If you don't know how to take them, or where to find them on your drive, let me know and I'll be happy to help you out.

Finally, Winter Hawk's player has made an incredibly gracious offer.  He is an artist on the side, and he has asked me to let everyone know that he would be quite happy to draw your character(s) free of charge.  Grab it while it's hot, because one day he'll get a permanent gig, and these drawings will be worth your retirement.

That's all I have for now.  In the meantime, have fun.
