Currently on the Test Server:  The Pocket D Jubilee, aka the 2007 Valentine's Day event.

Haven't checked it out yet, but the word on the boards is that it's going to be structured much like last year's, with hero/villain cooperative missions.  Unlike the Winter Event, however, you are *required* to do a hero/villain team in order to complete the missions.

That's the bad part (sort of).  The good part is that it seems that if you did these missions last year, you can skip 'em.  It does also appear that the same badges for Heroes which are normally only obtainable for villains (Weed Whacker, for 100 CoT Hellfrosts or Succubi, and Coldblooded (250 Hellfrosts) are in the missions, if you care to get with a team of eight and farm it for a bit.

And yeah, I probably will with Azzie, at least.  What can I say.

Sort-of-new: Some of you may remember that there was a separate Snaptooth (I hear the groans from here) mission from DJ Zero.  This goes again this year.  However, while you can get Capbuster and Toothbreaker (if by some chance you didn't get it in the Winter Event), they're adding additional goodies for people who are just crazy enough to nab Snappy 5 more times.  Although, from the looks of the list below, if you were around for last year's event, you won't have to do it 5 more times unless you're just that kind of Redcap stomper.

Sandals & Laurel (This was a premium item offered last year to people who brought in a new subscriber; it's footwear and a headpiece.  Pretty nice, actually.)

Partygoer Badge (New badge)
Heart of Light/Darkness Badge (This one is the same one given for logging in during the V'tines Day events last year, if you didn't get it then.)

So, some things old, some things new, some things borrowed and...hey, it *is* for a romantic holiday.

Those of you with villains Libertyside who would be willing to help out with those people wanting the joint missions, please let me know; the assistance would be great.  Anything co-op with you guys in Knights of the Cresent would be dandy, too.  More forthcoming as I check with some of our coalition partners who have matching groups villainside.
