The system was brought down at 6 a.m. CST, approximately two hours earlier than usual, for maintenance. According to the boards, this is it, sportsfans!
Per previous posts, we'll be installing the vault immediately and replacing (temporarily) our two worktables with two invention worktables. We will need to use the empowerment stations for construction of base salvage for the time being, until we can expand the base. (Not quite halfway there, but we're making good progress in that direction!) The vault and worktables will be in the workroom.
As of this time, there is no shared invention storage (i.e., like the enhancement or inspiration storage). There is only the personal storage in the Vault. This does not add to your storage, just keeps it conveniently near a worktable. You cannot put invention storage in base storage containers. People are asking for this, so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

As always, if you find that there's something out this issue that we need for the base or that you have a question about getting, *please* don't hesitate to bring it to my attention.
Last but not least, Cap is looking into getting a forum attached to this site so we can post wish lists and current hold lists on invention salvage. We'll let you know as soon as that's up and running, too.
